Sometimes people say something and I just don’t understand. I technically know what the words mean, but they don’t make any sense.
Like every language, German has it’s own untranslatable idioms and idiosyncrasies and this section is dedicated to some of the most charming.
To kick us off:
Die Decke fällt mir auf den Kopf – the ceiling falls on my head
OR: The kind of cabin fever and claustrophobia you get from being in the same place all day – like when you work from home and you just HAVE to leave the house or you might go insane.
Any other suggestions?
